Acuerate Cues
The Acuerate snooker cue ultra low throw technology is a result of over 25 years of dedication
towards the in-depth analysis of snooker from a playing and coaching
perspective. The man behind this research is Chris Henry, coach of the 7 times
World Professional Champion Stephen Hendry and former coach of Ding
Junhui, Bjorn Haneveer, former World Professional Champion Peter Ebdon
and many other top players from around the world.
Chris has identified the major problems experienced by snooker players
at all levels. The biggest challenge for players is to consistently
strike the cue ball in a straight line. All players apply
un-intentional side spin to the cue ball causing it to deflect from the
potting line resulting in missed shots. Following years of
experimentation, Chris identified that different cue specifications
(balance, weight, wood quality, density, moisture content, tip-size,
length etc.) determines the amount of cue ball deflection.
Based on this research, the patented Acuerate snooker cue technology has been
developed to dramatically reduce negative cue ball deflection caused by
the application of intentional and un-intentional side spin whilst
increasing the amount of cue ball spin which simplifies positional play
as less power is required.
